Repair Clean Valley

While most areas of the roof are common to repair, there is one area distinct in both installation and maintenance. That area is called the ‘roof valley.’ This valley is necessary two-fold: runoff of debris and rain from the top of the roof; or a focal point for designs that extend in more than one direction. That said, it’s also a common place for debris and standing water, as well as a nesting area for birds and small animals. Fortunately, Castile Roofing is here to repair clean valley areas of your roof, following an appointment scheduled with our roofing experts.

What is a ‘Roof Valley?’

A roof valley is also referred to as a ‘hip;’ This means it’s a flat sloping of two sets of roofs on the house. This acts as the connecting point with all debris on the roof to be connected. This is the opposite of a roof slope, which sticks upward and the roof is sloping along its sides.

Why Will You Only Work on Clean Valleys?

Simple. Cleaning Roof Valleys do take time and a cluttered valley is actually a SEPARATE charge. So to avoid that kind of charge, we recommend either having us take care of that prior to repair; with a nominal fee. That or clean the valley prior to our arrival (NOT recommended unless you’ve done it before).
